Add the Aamtron compressed-air pipe sizing widget to a website where visitors need a preliminary bore estimate. It uses the same pressure-aware calculation and catalogue reference data as our main calculator. The form runs in the visitor’s browser. Website owners can review the source and install the versioned script through their normal publishing process.

Paste this code into an HTML block on your page. The page must allow external JavaScript and the widget’s stylesheet. If your content editor removes script tags, ask your website developer to install it through the site’s supported code-insertion method.
Where the estimate fits
The tool estimates a minimum internal bore for the entered free-air delivery, inlet gauge pressure, effective flow-path length and allowed pipe pressure drop. It also repeats the calculation at 125% demand and compares the result with available reference bores. Fitting equivalent length is explicit: zero is the initial input, not a claim that bends, tees and valves have no loss.
Use the widget for early discussions about a factory ring main, workshop distribution line or machine branch. A full design still needs the actual demand profile, network arrangement, selected components and equipment losses. Do not automatically split demand equally around a ring or treat a pipe-drop estimate as a complete system calculation.
Product and pressure checks
The aluminium selection uses SecureAir catalogue internal bores. The product codes distinguish 2.90 m and 5.80 m catalogue lengths. GI reference sizes use EN 10255 medium bores. Stainless steel requires a verified product bore list. Nominal names and outside diameters are not interchangeable with the actual flow bore.
Catalogue matching checks hydraulic loss only. SecureAir’s catalogue states a 16 bar maximum operating pressure, while the pressure basis and temperature envelope still require manufacturer confirmation. The default SecureAir product suggestions are conservatively withheld when the entered gauge pressure plus the 1.01325 bar atmospheric assumption reaches 16 bar. This display policy does not establish a mechanical rating or prove a lower-pressure selection suitable.
The formula is the empirical method published in the Atlas Copco Compressed Air Manual. Read the full calculator method and assumptions before using an estimate, and confirm the complete pressure-temperature rating and installation requirements before procurement.
Website integration
The widget has its own styles and adapts to the width of its container. Place it in a content area at least 300 pixels wide and check the page on mobile as well as desktop. Two instances can be placed on one page with independent inputs and results; load the script once after their containers. Each form starts with the same example values.
The widget loads a public script and stylesheet from airlinepiping.com. As with any external script, your developer should review and trust the source before installation. A restrictive Content Security Policy may need an approved integration configuration; no changes to authentication or framing settings are required by this implementation. If external scripts are unsuitable for your site, use a normal link to the full calculator instead.
Calculated inputs and results stay in the browser and are not submitted by the widget to Aamtron. Loading its public assets still creates ordinary web-server requests. The widget itself adds no analytics, cookies, form submission or browser storage. Any analytics already on the embedding website remain under that website owner’s control.
Attribution and updates
A visible Aamtron credit links to the calculation method. The distributed credit uses rel="nofollow"; it is not a hidden or keyword-stuffed link. The versioned asset names keep the installation predictable. Review and test any future version before replacing the installed script.
Frequently asked questions
Does this use an iframe?
No. The widget renders as a JavaScript component inside the page. The main website retains its existing framing protection.
Will visitors’ project inputs be sent to Aamtron?
The widget calculates locally and does not submit the entered values. Loading the script and stylesheet produces ordinary asset requests, and the embedding website may have its own analytics.
Can the widget approve a piping product?
No. It estimates hydraulic bore and pressure loss. The project designer and manufacturer must confirm the complete system’s mechanical suitability and application limits.
What if my website blocks the script?
Ask your developer to review the source and the site’s integration requirements. A normal link to the full calculator is available if the widget cannot be installed.
