Our Fabrication Process
We work from your isometric drawings and line lists — or produce them through our piping design & engineering service — generating spool drawings, weld numbering and a full material take-off.
Pipes are cut to length, machine-bevelled and fitted with fittings and flanges on jigs. Dimensional checks at fit-up stage ensure flange orientation, bolt-hole alignment and face-to-face tolerances before any weld is made.
Root and fill passes by ASME Section IX certified welders using GTAW/SMAW — or orbital GTAW for stainless, hygienic and hydrogen service. Purging, interpass temperature and consumable control are documented per WPS.
Visual inspection of every weld plus RT/PT/UT sampling per line class and ITP. Completed spools receive final dimensional reports and are match-marked for site erection sequence.
Blasting, priming or galvanising for carbon steel; pickling and passivation for stainless. Spools ship end-capped to site, where our crews handle erection, tie-ins, hydrotesting per ASME B31.3 and handover documentation.
